The honourable sheikhdom of each emirate has always been proactive in the development of the land. The long-standing visions of the sheikhs and their determination is one of the major reasons for such amazing progress of each emirates. No doubt, the determination of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, United Arab Emirates Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah was one of the driving factors behind the establishment of Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to coordinate among Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) and RAK Investment Authority (RAKIA) which were established in 2000 and 2005 respectively. In 2018, RAKEZ has prospered to become the ultimate destination and home for 13000 multinational companies representing 100 different countries in 50 different segments.
